MILE MARKER’S HISTORY AND VISION

Mile Marker Industries has been in business for over forty years,
providing high quality, highly durable, hydraulic and electric
winches, mounting systems, locking hubs, snatch blocks, shackles,
tow and rigging ropes, recovery kits, vehicle accessories and more
to off-road motorists.

Our products are available in retail shops across the U.S. and we
have dealers throughout the world.

We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization and a TACOM approved
supplier, with our legendary, patented hydraulic winch the only
approved winch for the U.S. Military’s HMMWV (Humvee). All our
military products undergo rigorous testing and each is rated for the
highest break strength standard in the industry and are constructed
from high quality materials.

Kit 203 Transfer Case

Mile Marker designs and patents the new Process 203 Transfer Case Conversion Kit, facilitating shifting from full-time 4-wheel drive to part-time 2-wheel drive, with the goal of improving gas mileage.

Manual Locking Hubs

Another design and patent from Mile Marker is its Manual Locking Hubs, which are particularly useful in off-road situations where four-wheel drive is needed intermittently. By disengaging the front wheels when not needed, they improve fuel economy and reduce wear on the front drivetrain components.

AMC Quadra-Trac 1339 transfer case part-time conversion Jeep kit

Mile Marker purchases the AMC Quadra-Trac Jeep 1339 transfer case part-time conversion kit line from Dough Nash Engineering. This kit transforms the transfer case from full-time four-wheel drive to part-time operation, giving the driver the flexibility to engage or disengage four-wheel drive as needed.

1989

Selector Drive for the Transfer Case 4x4 to All Wheel Drive (Fluid Coupling)

Mile Marker's pioneering bolt-on selector drive revolutionizes 4-wheel drive, allowing it to function like all-wheel drive. By bolting directly onto the transfer case front shaft, it seamlessly adjusts the torque distribution between the front and rear differentials. Experience enhanced control and stability while navigating through icy roads and executing left or right-hand turns.

1995

One Speed Hydraulic Winch

Another first in the industry, Mile Marker's patented hydraulic winch enables the user to use their vehicle's power steering to drive the hydraulic winch for continuous duty. This legendary system utilizes the vehicle’s OEM power steering as its power source. Every day, more than 200 million power steering pumps operate flawlessly. Used in all types of vehicles, under every condition, from 50 below to 135 degrees above, the pump must perform for years without service or adjustment. It must withstand every type of abuse without failure. With a built-in governor (the pressure relief valve), it is near impossible to overload or overwork the pump.

1996

Two Speed Hydraulic Winch

A year later, realizing the need in the market, Mile Marker patented and designed a 2-speed hydraulic winch. This allowed quicker recoveries when under lighter loads while still being able to reach high loads under a slower speed, giving the best of both worlds.

1998

Two Speed Hydraulic Winch for HMMWV: Rear Mount, Front Mount Basic, Front Mount ECV

This hydraulic winch system designed and patented by Mile Marker is the top choice of the U.S. Army, as Mile Marker became the primary self-recovery outfitter for the HMMWV (Hummer) as well as many other tactical vehicles around the globe.

1999

Jeep Front End Conversion Kits

To replace those non-serviceable parts found on the 1984 and newer XJ, YJ and TJ Jeeps, Mile Marker designs premium front hub conversion kits.

2001

Extreme Mounts and Brush Guards

Mile Marker starts offering Extreme Mounts featuring a 3/8 inch thick steel plate and bar, fully welded to vertical upright mounting brackets, forming a robust "box structure." This design withstands the 12,000 lbs. force from Mile Marker winches. Optional "wrap-around" headlight hoops are available for the grill guard. These mounts are highly preferred for fleet and utility vehicles.

2002

Wireless Remote

Manufactured to Mile Marker specs, they release their Wireless Remote, allowing you to control your winch from a distance of up to 50 feet with a straightforward plug-and-play system. This ensures safety and convenience, letting you operate the winch from afar.

2003

Gas Power Air Compressor

The Mile Marker gas-powered dual piston air compressor is designed, and allows you to operate air tools efficiently, even with a compact air tank. It's capable of handling substantial tasks while occupying minimal space and allowing for maximum portability.

2008

Electric Full Size Winches and Small ATV/UTV Winches

Mile Markers comes out with its trail-rated, permanent magnet motor E Series winches, that provide the durability and dependability of a high-speed planetary gear system and sturdy all-metal construction, packaged in a more conventional design. These compact, yet robust winches, serve as reliable workhorses, ensuring you stay on track and out of trouble during your adventures.

2010

18K Hydraulic, Two Speed Winches

Mile Marker unveils its latest powerhouse winch: the H18K. With an impressive 18,000 lbs. of pulling and recovery capability, this hydraulic winch is versatile and suitable for various applications ranging from military vehicles to industrial utility vehicles and commercial tow and recovery vehicles. Requiring just a hydraulic flow of 4 G.P.M. at 1500 psi, it can be powered by most stock power steering pumps or PTO systems, offering flexibility in usage.

Tough Series Winch with Built-in Kill Switch and Built-in LED Lights

Mile Marker introduces electric winches that provide exceptional pulling power while conserving electricity. Additionally, many of their latest electric winch models feature FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer) sheaths on cable connections, enhancing heat and abrasion resistance for increased durability.

MiFi Technology Control Box with Variable Speed Line

Mile Marker advances its progress in solid-state control and variable-speed line retrieval through MiFi Technology™, revolutionizing recovery control globally. Mile Marker reveals its latest innovation, the V-Series Electric Winches, setting a new standard in performance and innovation. These winches boast revolutionary Solid-State controls (no solenoids), Variable Speed Line Control, and Waterproof Sealing, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and durability. With lightning-fast line speeds, this winch series stands out as the ultimate choice on the market. The 2.5K-12K-pound capacity winch is designed to tackle any challenge with ease.

Gator ES9: First Winch to be Rated 9K on All Layers

The Gator ES9 winch is the first to be rated at 9k pound capacity for all layers, ensuring consistent performance across every layer. It empowers you to tackle any task without being restricted by other winches' limitations. Whether you require 10 feet or 100 feet of cable, this winch enables you to harness its full power for any job at hand.

2016

Project (ES) Winches

Project ES Winches begin to roll out the assembly line. They are equipped with 19 seals meticulously placed throughout the assembly to ensure that contaminants are effectively kept out of the unit. Mile Marker has further enhanced these winches with a new submersible solenoid design, incorporating marine-grade connections at the remote control plug and socket for improved durability, reliability, and water proofing.

2017

18K Electric One Speed Winch

Mile Marker presents its latest electric winch, the SEC18(es), and it stands out as their most robust model yet. Boasting a remarkable 18,000 lbs. of pulling and recovery capability, this versatile winch finds application across various sectors, from tow trucks to industrial settings.

MK154

The MK-154 undergoes reengineering, integrating an updated hydraulic and electrical system, enhancing safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Mile Marker developed the hydraulic winch for this purpose, incorporating their two-speed hydraulic system and utilizing a specialized synthetic rope. These enhancements facilitate effortless operation and loading.

2018

MODG (Motor Overlord Digital Guard)

The MODG (Motor Overload Digital Guard) module offers full adjustability to enhance the winch's capability. It allows precise tuning of the winch load through amp control, ensuring the winch operates within its rated capacity without overloading.

2019

GMV1.1 Winch 24V Military 9.5K and 13K

The GMV1.1 Winch 24V, designed for military use, was developed by Mile Marker to meet the rigorous demands of the U.S. military. It features an electric motor, low-friction brake assembly, heavy-duty drum, and side plates. Additionally, it includes a rope pass-through for securing the rope. The winch is equipped with an ultra-high-performance rope made of SK99 material, boasting a breaking strength exceeding 28,000 lbs.

549 SD Locking Hub

The Ford Super Duty truck encounters significant challenges, especially when fitted with larger tires. Yet, Mile Marker's introduction of specialized hubs tailored for Ford Super Duty trucks since 2005 has provided a solution. Despite enduring rugged conditions, these hubs exhibit exceptional resilience, delivering unmatched reliability and performance in demanding situations.

Rhino Pull 1000^TM

Mile Marker introduces an industry leading, innovative, and 2022 SEMA Global Media Awards winning product. A Portable Electric Winch that can pull or lift up to 1,000 lbs. It is lighter than its competitors, with a longer 39 foot synthetic rope and a wireless control.
